Children’s Ministry at Life Kidz! exists to partner with parents and volunteers in helping children (Infant – 5th Grade) develop a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We consider it a high privilege and opportunity to care for, teach, and encourage each child at Life Community Church.

Children’s Ministry is held during both services, 9:15 & 11 am. Head down the hall to the right of the Worship Center & check in at the Cabin!

Here are some frequent parent FAQ's:

How will I know my child is safe?

All of our leaders have gone through a vendor that provides thorough background investigations for our church. When you arrive you will be given a label which has a number that matches the number given on your child’s sticker.
If there are any issues, we will display the number on the screens in the main sanctuary to reach you.

Can "Big Brother" or "Big Sister" stay with my little one in their classroom?

Yes. We encourage our children to be in their own classroom, at their own age and grade. However, if this is very important to the parent and child accommodations can be made.

What if my child has an allergy or medical condition.

To ensure your child has the best experience that they can possibly have each of our rooms have leaders that are trained and typically recognize parents after the second or third visit. If this is your first time you will be asked to fill out some information that is helpful to us. Please include any medical/allergy information on the form so that our leaders will be familiar with any conditions your child may have.

We celebrate often what God is doing at Life Kidz! with snacks, games, and events and we want to make sure that everyone is included!

If your child has a severe medical condition it may be helpful to email Laurie Kelley in order to make sure leaders are available to best accommodate your needs.

What Curriculum do you use for Children?

We are currently using Hyfi Curriculum from Lifeway. At a time when kids are desperate to know who they are, Hyfi is using 12 key biblical truths to guide them to learn who they are because of who Christ is. Hyfi’s biblically sound content presents a clear picture of Jesus and the gospel so that kids can flourish in their faith. This curriculum utilizes tools to encourage kids to connect with one another in ways that ensure a sense of belonging and acceptance.

How can I serve?

We are always looking for dynamic leaders to serve with us at either the 9:15 or 11:00 am service. Being a leader in Children’s Ministry allows you to make an impact in a child’s life as you help them in their relationship with Christ. Go BEYOND! Sunday morning with Life KIDZ! take a break in the week and exercise your faith. Through hands on fun, crafts, games, dynamite worship, and a messaged crafted just for them! This is a place for all KIDZ! to go BEYOND! and grow in their faith.
